Standard Model Release UK
The Standard Model release template covers non commercial usage, and is perfect for photography sessions where the resulting images will be used by the Photographer for non-commercial purposes.
So you would use this release for a standard photo shoot, where the client is allowing you to use the images for portfolio needs, but not commercial purposes.
It also covers "model" or TPF shoots where you are effectively compensating the client for being able to use their images for portfolio purposes only.
So again, you would not be able to use the images for commercial purposes, but you would be able to show your work in various formats ( i.e online on website/blog etc).
This method is often used by new photographers to build their portfolio - they offer the client a free shoot or images in exchange for the ability to use their images. This form is perfect for that purpose and also has provision for excluding any images that the client is not comfortable in being used.
In all cases mentioned above you would NOT be able to use the images for monetary gain or sell/pass them to third parties for monetary gain. If you are looking to use your clients images for a commercial purpose please check out our Commercial Model Release.
The document comes supplied as a Word Document, this will need to be printed on headed paper.
